About This Series |
The subject of these paintings was the burned out remains of a home on Grandview Terrace in Oakland, California, victim to the devastating fire that swept through the East Bay Hills in 1991. As in my Death Valley and Cement Factory series, it is the abstract nature of our everyday reality that continues to fascinates the artist. |
